Swedish Mausers are a family of bolt-action rifles based on an improved variant of Mauser Model 1893, chambered for the 6.5x55mm Swedish cartridge and built to design requirements set by Sweden. The family includes the m/94 carbine, the m/96 long rifle, the m/38 short rifle and the m/41 sniper rifle, with production beginning in 1898 at the Carl Gustafs stads gevarsfaktori in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
