All Assault Rifles of the Americas Outside the United States

This is a child group of Assault Rifles, collecting the Small Arms And Sidearms subcategory's assault rifles whose own record traces them to a country in the Americas other than the United States: Brazil (the IMBEL IA2 and MD97 and the Taurus T4), Canada (the Colt Canada C7, the Canadian military's own version of the Colt Armalite AR-15 platform), Argentina (the FARA 83) and Peru (the Fusil Automatico Doble, developed by Peruvian arms designer Salomon Braga Lozo). None of these four countries reaches five members on its own within this split, so they are grouped together as a single Americas bucket distinct from the much larger United States group that sits alongside it.
