The Bushmaster XM-15 is a line of AR-15 style semi-automatic rifles and carbines built by Bushmaster Firearms International in the United States since the 1980s, chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56 by 45 millimeter NATO. Beyond its wide civilian and law enforcement use, variants have appeared with combatants in the War in Iraq and the Syrian Civil War.
