The Combat Vehicle 90, known as the CV90, is a family of Swedish tracked armoured combat vehicles designed by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration together with Hagglund and Soner and Bofors during the mid-1980s to early 1990s. It entered service in Sweden in the mid-1990s, and the platform has continued to evolve from the original Mk 0 version to the current Mk IV, incorporating technological advances and changing battlefield requirements along the way.
