The Heckler & Koch P7 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered mainly in 9x19mm Parabellum, designed in West Germany in 1976 and manufactured by Heckler & Koch from 1979 to 2008. It is best known for its squeeze cocker, a lever built into the front of the grip that must be squeezed to cock the firing pin before the pistol can be fired; releasing the grip immediately de-cocks the weapon, letting it be carried safely with a loaded chamber.
