The Iveco SuperAV is an eight wheel drive amphibious armored personnel carrier developed by the Italian manufacturer Iveco. A version built with BAE Systems was selected for the United States Marine Corps Amphibious Combat Vehicle program, carrying a crew of three and eleven embarked Marines. It uses a high hardness monocoque steel hull to protect against small arms fire, shrapnel and improvised explosive devices, and it can travel up to about 10 nautical miles from a ship to shore and back under its own power. The Italian Army selected the SuperAV in 2010 and the Marine Corps variant entered service in 2020.
