The SIG Sauer SIGM400 is an American-made semi-automatic rifle and carbine built by SIG Sauer as a direct impingement, gas operated derivative of the AR-15 design, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO or .300 AAC Blackout. It has been in production since 2011, feeding from STANAG magazines through a rotating bolt, and is offered in both rifle and pistol configurations with barrel lengths from 9 to 20 inches. It is marketed to law enforcement, military and civilian buyers under variants including the M400 PRO, M400 Tread and M400 Classic.
