The XM25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement System, also known as the Punisher and the Individual Semiautomatic Air Burst System, was an American and German developed bullpup grenade launcher firing programmable 25x40mm airburst ammunition, designed by Heckler and Koch with Orbital ATK. It was deployed for field evaluation in Afghanistan starting in 2010, but malfunctions and 2013 budget cuts delayed its planned entry into service, and the United States Army terminated the program on July 24, 2018.
