The AMX-10P is a French amphibious infantry fighting vehicle developed from 1965 to replace the AMX-VCI, serving with the French Army from its introduction in 1973 until its retirement in 2015. It was exported to and operated by Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, with special marine variants built for Singapore and Indonesia, and it is propelled through water at up to seven kilometers per hour by twin waterjets, sharing transmission and chassis components with the wheeled AMX-10 RC.
