The Heckler and Koch HK433 is a modular assault rifle chambered originally for 5.56x45mm ammunition, combining features of the company's G36 and HK416 rifle families. It was formally introduced at the EnforceTac trade show in Nuremberg, Germany in March 2017 and entered service in 2024. It is gas operated with a short-stroke piston and rotating bolt, fires at about 850 rounds per minute from a 30-round magazine, and has been adopted by Germany's KSK special forces and police units as well as by Ukrainian forces.
